Part of the “Valle Vinicunca” series, this photo was taken on August 1st, 2023 in the Vinicunca Valley of the Andes in Peru at an altitude of 16,000 feet above sea level. It features an indigenous Peruvian man and his daughter in their village, huddled in front of their hut and a group of workers taking a break on the far hill behind them.
